Rooted in Speech.
Driven by Accessibility.

My path into accessibility started in a speech therapy room. After seven years as a certified speech and language therapist, I understand firsthand how people communicate, process information, and navigate technology — and what happens when that technology wasn't built with them in mind.

That clinical foundation shapes everything I do as an accessibility specialist. I translate complex technical findings, standards, and processes into clear, structured remediationdocumentation for developers, designers, and multidisciplinary teams — with a specialization in WCAG 2.2 compliance, accessibility auditing, and inclusive design. I'm currently pursuing my Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification through IAAP.

I contribute to Mozilla Thunderbird's open-source accessibility initiatives, producing manual and tool-assisted audit documentation against WCAG and POUR principles and authoring accessibility case studies referenced by the core product team. I also serve on Mozilla Thunderbird's Accessibility Committee, contributing to documentation standards across UX and engineering teams.
